Jerry Can Carry

Carry the cans through the marked course.

Jerry Can Carry

The Jerry Can Carry tests your grip strength, core stability, and pacing while moving with heavy weights in each hand. Keep your shoulders pulled back, chest up, and walk with short, steady steps to avoid swinging the cans. Don’t rush in the beginning — stay controlled and focus on breathing. To train for it, use farmer’s carries, dead hangs for grip endurance, and core work like weighted marches or suitcase carries to stay stable and strong under load.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Carry two cans (for both males and females) from the designated area.
  • Walk through the entire marked course.
  • Return both cans to the designated area.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Both cans must be carried at the same time.
  • Cans may be placed down if needed.
  • If a can is dropped and moves, it must be returned to the drop point, and the carry must restart from there.
