A Cargo Frame

Climb over the A Frame Cargo net.

A Cargo Frame

A-Frame Cargo Net challenges coordination and steady movement as you climb up and over a large angled net. Keep your hips close to the net to stay balanced, use your legs to step up rather than pulling only with your arms, and move one hand/foot at a time. At the top, stay calm and stable — place one leg over first before shifting your weight to descend. To train for it, practice step-ups, core stability, and controlled climbing movements.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Use hands and feet.
  • Climb up the obstacle, over the top, and down the other side.
  • Use only the webbing, horizontal truss at the base and peak, and any horizontal pipes for support.

DISALLOWED

  • Failing to climb over and down the obstacle.
  • Using truss supports other than the horizontally fixed pieces (e.g., side or middle trusses) to aid movement or momentum.

USE HANDS & FEET

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Horizontal trusses or supports like the very top beam may be used to complete the obstacle.
